Faces of the Bold: A Character Development Analysis of the Pilots of Argentea (so far), Part Two

FAN THEORY

Three days ago, I covered the character development analysis of Zorome (code 666) and Miku (code 390), the pilots of the FranXX Argentea, and I picked the title for their character development based on the symbolism of their mech's name (which, btw, is the species name for the cock's comb plant, which symbolizes boldness and aptitude in defense). But with the new episode having come out, let's pick up where we left off in episode five.

In episode five, Zorome verbally expresses a lot of jealousy towards Hiro and Zero Two's growing intimacy, but he is quick to reconcile with Hiro and calls their entire feud as being of trivial importance, and seems to have come to terms with the fact that Hiro and Zero Two are both needed for Squad 13's survival. He also shakes off Goro's doubts about his friend's safety, confident that Hiro will be all right in the end. Zorome is sadly unaware about the fate of the parasites, that none reach adulthood. Miku, meanwhile, still has misgivings about the Hiro Two relationship, saying that Kokoro and Futoshi are so easily influenced by the #bestwaifu's mealtime conduct. Both Zorome and Miku, however, express much heat at the fact that code 090, Squad 26's leader, regarded them as being more of a liability than anything else. Neither of them, just like the others, have any idea about what kissing is (as seen in episode seven).

Episode six was not one of much character development due to all the action, but it's plain that Zorome and Miku proved themselves able. Good old Zorome the Great had his pre-battle pep talk and ended up not doing anything. Except, of course, he utilized Argentea's speed to save code 090 just before his FranXX got eaten. Speaking of Argentea's speed, it's apparently the fastest of the four ordinary mechs at Plantation 13 (obviously, Strelizia is faster because she can fly, not just glide along the ground.).

Part Three will be here either in a few hours. Thanks guys!
