Animal Trick citations needed for Herolab
Hey all.
I use Herolab for my characters. I'm making a hunter with an animal companion. I'm messing around to see what a high level build would look like, when I discover that HeroLab doesn't let me take an additional 3 tricks for hitting 4 Int. I submitted it as a bug, because I read here and here that I should be flat-out getting 3 tricks per point of Int.
HeroLab guys get back to me, thank me for my citations, but say my sources are aimed at Pathfinder Society. They have that rule implemented for if you use the "this is a PFS character" option for your character sheet. But I'm taking the Spirit's Gift from first level, which is hilariously PFS-illegal. (EDIT: Apparently it's not. I think someone said this about the pre-errata version. In any case, I don't know what marking my character as PFS-compliant in the program would do and I don't want to mess with it.)
So they asked me to find them some non-PFS-focused source for the rule that says you get 3 tricks per point of Int on an animal/ animal companion. My Google-fu is failing me. Can you guys help?
