Computer freezes randomly, resulting in a forced shutdown

Hello :) This issue has been ongoing for more than 6 months, and I still have no clue as to why it occurs. The freeze is sudden, with no warning, and I can do nothing while the sound loops in the background, and I am eventually forced to kill it by holding down the power button on the cabinet.. On top of that, the screen changes into this weird display of bars with what appears to be a random, solid color (which changes everytime this thing happens).

Here is an example Please note that while it looks like there are shades of the blue color, there are not, it is solid. The stripes are the oddest thing if you ask me) System specs and the monitor I am using

Google searches show very little! Having a hard time locating the cause of this issue :/
