Just discovered this sub - 4 Down
Was browsing around on r/literature and found a link to this sub. Definitely interested, currently read 4 books since the beginning of the year. As that's ten weeks in, I'm going to shoot for 42 books this year. Two of these I've already read, but as I'm teaching them in my AP English Lit course, I figured I should give them another read, and a deeper look, plus Wuthering Heights is a personal favorite of mine.
- Pride & Predjudice by Austin
- Hamlet by Shakespeare
- The Souls of Black Folk by DuBois
- Wuthering Heights by Brontë
Looking for suggestions on the next book. I was thinking about To the Lighthouse, Jane Eyre, Emma or Great Expectations. Can you tell I'm on a British fix?
