Do I suck really bad or do I just have to play a lot more games?

So I first got really into League in November so I guess I’m a very new player. I’ve started playing ranked as an adc main and I’ve only played 20 games and I’ve lost 18 of them. This doesn’t seem normal to me :/ my kda has been really bad and I’ve been slowly improving but I feel like some of it is also bad luck. I had a 9 game losing streak. During my placements I lost 9/10 of them and still got placed in Bronze I. (Wtf??? I was so surprised) I got demoted to Bronze II now, no surprise. My question is, as a brand new player, is it normal for me to be struggling like this?? I would also totally be open to accepting tips from you guys.
