Looking to buy Shopify POS system for my store, is it worth it and what to expect?

Brief summary: 2 store locations and 1 online store using shopify, I wanna integrate everything in one platform, here's some questions, Is inventory management really easy to manage with online and my physical stores? Do I need to download third party apps to help smooth my experience with shopify pos? I mostly care about inventory management which is the only reason why im considering getting shopify pos. Please any advice or experience anyone has I would kindly appreciate it. I don't wanna invest thousands of dollars in hopes that whatever they promise me is what they say they are offering.
