LLC Tax Questions: Writing of things on taxes and the 1099-misc
Both of these topics are based on an LLC that is taxed as the default; founded in South Carolina, but it is online-based. So, workers will be all over (but mostly in the US preferably).
1. Writing off things on taxes. Currently, this LLC will be registered as a single member-LLC, but I will possibly add my business partner that I am talking too as an LLC. For writing off personal stuff that is needed for business, like my phone, trips, my computer, etc, can we both (or can myself at least) still write those stuff off?
**2. Providing the 1099-MISC. ** Immediately when a new team signs our team member agreement to become a contractor, do I go ahead and have them fill out the 1099-misc too or is it better to wait until when I’m about to pay them $600 or more?
