LG is the worst company that I have worked with so far.
I bought this phone as my first Nexus phone and I have typically kept Samsungs up to that point. I love the phone at first, but the inevitable bootloop happened. At first I was very annoyed that they didn't give me a phone or anything for the repair I had to be without a phone for 2 weeks, but I got over it. Then within a year it bootlooped a second time. I was a bit more frustrated, but I sucked it up and sent the phone in to be repaired. Another 2 weeks with out a phone. When I finally got my phone back I noticed that there was a dark spot on the camera, at first i though it must be something with an app, but the issue persisted in many other apps. I got ahold of LG and they said I could send it in and it may be under warranty. They damaged the camera so they did end up warrantying it. The final straw was that I received the phone back and noticed that it was a bit clunky, especially when using the camera. I came to the conclusion that this must have been from the camera replacement, but I wasn't able to confirm it. The holidays showed up and I had plenty on my plate so I didn't have time to fiddle with my phone and try to get it fixed again. Finally things slowed down for me and I could not stand working with my phone anymore so I wrote LG. The person on the chat was less than helpful and assured me that my repair was out of warranty and there was nothing they could do for me. I think I was around 30 day out of warranty, but seeing as they have completely dropped the ball up to this point I thought they may help me out. As she kept telling me that it was not policy to give me any break I asked if it was part of LGs policy to treat me as they did. After that she tried to avoid the question I asked her to address it and she ended the conversation. That is honestly a first for me. If that is how LG operates I don't want anything to do with LG after that. Which is a bummer because I am in the market for fridge and they were in the running for it.
