Is ThePirateBay still any good?

I haven't really pirated much since I was young. One of the sites my dad showed me how to use back in the day was The Pirate Bay. I used to visit that site all the time, downloading games, movies, music, etc.

I noticed that, unlike many torrent sites, it still seems to be up, although I am aware of some fakes. The specific site I would like to use is thepiratebay.org. Does anyone know if this site is legitimate, and if anyone even uses it anymore?

Thank you
