to amend section 4 to read as follows:

I) Businesses in the state of Dixie are to reduce the amount of toxic chemicals released into Dixie waterways by fifty percent (50%)

1) This process shall take place over the course of three (3) years after the passing of this bill.

2) Businesses that fail to reach this goal in the allotted time shall be fined for fifteen percent (15%) of the revenue earned by the business in that year.

(a) This fine shall increase by three percent (3%) for each successive year that the company fails to reach the goal**.**

(b) If at any point after the allotted time a business fails to reach the goal they shall also be fined according to the terms stated in section 4a) i) 1) and section 4a) i) 1) (a)

II) Dixie State Government inspectors shall conduct annual reports on the amount of toxic chemicals released into Dixie waterways

Section 2 is amended to read:

“Toxic chemical” shall, for the purposes of this bill, be defined as a chemical listed in the Environmental Protection Agency's Toxic Release Inventory
