Isn't anyone else having problems bypassing hotfix?

Like damn, no matter what I try the patch won't run. Well, actually it does run, just says the classic "would you like to allow this program to make changes" clicks yes and then nothing, no oculussetup.exe starting up.

I resorted to completely uninstalling oculus and installing a fresh setup with the cmd, this isn't working either. By the way, if I run the setup without /bypasshotfixcheck it runs fine.

am I doing something wrong here???

Sorry if I come across rude, just a bit upset that I have to do this at all... I know this bug in particular is a Windows issue, but at least give the hundreds of people who experience it a bypass button so they don't have to repair windows or open up a cmd log!
