Why does everyone seem to hate the Wii?

Everywhere I go online I seem to see that many gamers (including Nintendo fans) seem to hate or dislike the Wii. I personally loved mine up until it stopped displaying sound and video. It has shaped me as both a gamer and a person with it’s amazing game library. I wish people would see the amazing experiences that were available on Wii and love them as much as I do.
