No more excuses- could use all the help I can get

So I originally started on a weightloss journey back in November, and managed to lose ten lbs in three months.

The plan was I was going to make 2018 my best year yet! However, 2018 had different plans for me...

Lost my job (owners closed shop), my cat got diagnosed with lymphoma (terminal cancer basically), I found a new job and they fired me after one day because I required too much training (they apparently expected me to know how to run everything my first day), and then I got sick for a few weeks, didn't exercise, and drank way too much regular soda (which I normally hardly ever drink). I let myself over indulge because I felt depressed. Next thing I know I've regained all my weight.

Well, I'm finally not sick anymore, my cat is on chemo and has been doing fairly well so far, and I got accepted for unemployment (which I hope to be off of ASAP).

This has been a pattern for me for years now. I start a diet, something bad pops up in life, and I fall off the wagon. Shit happens, and I need to deal with it without turning to food.

I know how to lose weight. I know to expect platuaes (especially since I have hypothyroidism). I know how to work out... I've done all this many times.

I think the missing ingredient that I need is support. So I'm going to do my best to post on here when I'm struggling and need encouragament.

Also, I would love diet buddies to check in with via PMs, so please feel free to message me if you could use some extra support too!

Well everyone, wish me luck!
