Is Dragsaver esras "entirely" necessary for a luard deck?

Is it? I personally don't see it as being 100% necessary, but the fact that its recyclable like Belial Owl is a big advantage to have, but I don't think it's as vital? I suppose I'm looking for some reasons to convince myself into getting them for my Luard deck and I haven't fully convinced myself.
