DMs, would you allow a Pixie or Sprite playable race in your campaign?

I used to play as a Pixie in an older edition (don't remember which one) and was disappointed it wasn't an option for 5th.

Would you allow a player to play as a Pixie or Sprite? If so, what would be the limitations and traits? Better yet, is there a balanced homebrew set of stats for the race?
