Announcing /r/Baseball's MVPoster of the week.
This week we are proud to announce u/Jaco927 with Lonnie Smith and the Terrible, Horrible, No Good, Very Bad Baserunning as this week’s MVPoster.
On a weekly basis, mods will nominate posts they find extra intriguing, insightful, or creative. They do not necessarily have to be serious, self posts, or big statistical evaluations, but they do need to require that extra level of effort, unlike a typical shitpost, screen grab, or link to an article. At the end of the week, the mods will vote over the nominations and pick the best post of the week. The following week, the user behind the post will be rewarded special flair for the week and have bragging rights. Right now, the two choices of special flairs are the World Series MVP truck hauling in the MVP Award logo. The other is Salvador Perez dumping gatorade on the user's team flair.
This week's runner ups were:
- u/the_Nats_Of_Us with Stoicism and Baseball
- u/phitter72 with Tangential Hall of Famers
- u/theOddAverage with Dave Hansen: The King of Bait-and-Switch Plate Appearances
Congrats again to u/Jaco927!
