Breastfed/Formula Poop and Wash Logistics
I plan on EBFing #2, but I ended up having to supplement with formula (half/half ratio) with #1 (disposables). So, now that we're trying cloth diapering with #2 (due next month)...I'm becoming concerned about how "all poo should go in the toilet, unless it's EBF."
If I'm half/half again, and I won't have a sprayer, could I just use the billions of microfleece inserts that I currently have that I could place inside of the prefold and with a cover on top? I plan on using dunk and swish for the wipes/microfleece inserts/prefolds that are half/half poo'd. If it's really bad, I'll just toss the insert into the garbage.
Logistics check:
-
Baby half/half poos.
-
Wipe majority of poo off with prefold/diaper. Clean the rest of the baby with reusable wipe/solution.
-
Put clean diaper on baby.
-
If only pee diaper, put diaper and wipe in nursery wetbag. If poo, take diaper/microfleece/wipe to toilet.
-
Dunk and swish, gently wring out (ugh), put diaper/microfleece insert/wipe in wetbag in bathroom. Leave until wash day when I run out of diaps...probably every other day or two, tops.
-
Go back to 12 hour cluster feeding and being stuck on the couch.
Does this seem right? Any anecdotes or easier methods appreciated! Also, shit...how do I do this at night?! We really want to do night-time CDing too!
