What's the best way to find loft rentals in the metro area?

I'm looking at moving with a friend around November into a 1/2br loft (renting) but can't seem to find much other than the ones actively reaching for tenants (pretty much The Sexton).

How best should I go about finding a loft in the metro area?

If it helps, we're looking at Eat Street, Downtown or northeast Minneapolis.
