Dark Tower: First four are great, but the fifth is...

I have thoroughly enjoyed this series so far, and had high hopes for the Wolves, but jeez it sucked. The story seems to be pretty cool, the Gunslinger is obligated to help this town from getting raided by these "Wolves," but the focus doesn't really seem to focus on the namesake. I was looking forward to a brawl with the Wolves, but the "climax" was a cakewalk that took like 20 pages to get through, and then it seemingly just talks about what is to come in the next book for the rest of the time. Any thoughts on Wolves of Calla? I'm not the only one with this opinion, right?
