Looking for Replacement Gear for Macintosh SE Floppy Drive
I recently picked up a Macintosh SE with a SuperDrive and magaged to get it up and running. It required a fair amount of work, but the only remaining issue is that the floppy drive can’t eject disks.
I could hear the eject motor running but nothing happens. When I removed it from the drive and began taking It apart, I saw that one of the small nylon gears had fallen apart.
I’d rather just replace that one component than the entire drive. However, I’ve looked online for either the gear or the motor housing and haven’t had much luck.
Anyone have an idea where I could order one or possibly scavenge a similar gear from something else?
UPDATE
I ordered the one recommended by u/veeb0rg. It fit perfectly. I added a bit of lithium grease and the eject works again. Thanks to everybody for their help!
