Unlocked Galaxy S9 & Verizon Wireless - Questions

Hi everyone,

I am a VZW customer, and I am considering buying an unlocked (non-Verizon branded) Samsung Galaxy S9 directly from Samsung.

I have been trying to find out the answer to two questions:

1. Will this unlocked phone from Samsung work with VZW's WiFi calling since, as I understand it, none of the VZW bloatware will be on the phone

2. I have my current cell phone insured through VZW (through Asurion). If I purchase this unlocked phone from Samsung, will Asurion still cover/insure the new phone (or do I have to purchase insurance from Samsung)?

Please let me know since I would like to hopefully purchase the phone this weekend.
