Difficulty of FFXV?

Hi Guys, I'm a long time gamer. I've done some reading and it appears there is no "Hard" difficulty for FFXV?

I've been absent from FF for a long time because I've often felt it's just way too easy, and the stories are never good enough to feel sucked in by it.

However, now that FFXV is out for PC, and it does look good - but i'm not willing to spend 50$ plowing through a game that won't offer much of a challenge. I play games like XCOM 2 and Darkest Dungeon on their respective Ironman modes, and tend to enjoy these the best.

Does FFXV have anything to offer me, or should I stay out of this FF?
