Duracell Long Sword End Game Build

I just wanted to share a long sword build that I have had great success with. With this build you will dish out decent damage while pretty much being almost completely invulnerable to damage. The way this works is that you passively regain health via multiple regenerative skills but you also still get multiple attack skill boosts to keep your damage high. Here is what I have been using (It also looks really cool from a fashion perspective).

Weapon: Extermination's Edge (Augmented with Life Leech) (1 level 1 slot)

Armor:

Nergigante Helmet B (Maximum Might 2) (2 level 1 Slots)

Vaal Chest B (Recovery Speed 2) (2 Level 1 Slots)

Vaal Arms B (Peak Performer 1) (3 Level 1 Slots)

Vaal Waist B (Peak Performer 1) (2 Level 1 Slots)

Nergigante Feet B (Maximum Might 1) (1 Level 3 Slot)

Set Bonus: Passive Health Regeneration

Charm: Exploiter Charm II

Mantles: Rocksteady Mantle (Start the fight with this), Vitality Mantle (use this if you do somehow take a lot of hits to health so you can throw this up and regain your real health bar underneath). You can also replace vitality mantle with affinity booster if you want to be 100% affinity.

Decorations:

Weapon: 1 Recovery Decoration

Helmet: 2 Medicine Recovery up or 2 Attack Decorations (or you could do 2 critical eye). This is kind of up in the open for these 2. I also often times use wide range level 2 just to help assist the group if I see someone really struggling. I also switch these out and 1 other decoration for 3 miasma resists when im fighting vaal, usually I replace these 2 then one protection decoration

Chest: 2 Vitality Decorations

Arms: 3 Protection Decorations

Waist: 1 Dragon Attack Decoration, 1 Vitality Decoration

Feet: 1 Weakness Exploit Decoration

What this build gives: Weakness Exploit 3 (50% affinity increase on weakpoints), Maximum Might 3 (Increases affinity by 30% when stamina is full), Protection 3 (20% chance to reduce damage by 50%), Vitality 3 (50 hp increase), Dragon Attack (+30 dragon attack), Attack Boost 2, Peak Performer 2 (+10 attack when health is full), passive life regen from vaal set bonus, Recovery 3 (quadruple the life regeneration from the red/yellow hp portion of hp bar), and life leech from the weapon.

What this brings to the table is a pretty much constant 80% affinity/crit chance as long as you are hitting a weak point. Long sword doesn't really use stamina unless your dodging so you are getting a constant 30% affinity on top of the 50% weakness exploit for a total of 80. You are getting quadruple the red/yellow health bar recharge this is huge as you can often regain your lost health before you even stand up. Next we have the passive life regen which is ticking for the entire fight, finally for regenerative abilities we have life leech on the weapon which will cover whatever the rest doesn't take care of.

Peak peformer will often be up because your almost always topped off on health. Then the protection kicks in. Divine protection kicks in very often so that's pretty much like another bit of health. Then vitality for another 50 to our life bar giving us a huge life pool. Coupled with long swords already high damage values and all of the affinity and attack boosts you now have a literal force to be reckoned with. Now you may be asking yourself, why use the exploiter charm? If you noticed this set only has one level 2 slot so that is why. It would not be possible to take weakness exploit with all of the other perks otherwise. That is why we are only at peak performer 2, there is not a second high level slot to put it in.

In any case, I'm pretty much unstoppable for almost any boss. I can literally tank bosses while taking damage and constantly regain the health back. Its very common for me to literally never have to use a potion during an encounter. Since you can ignore most hits you are effectively still staying high in damage. There is no running away to sip a potion its just constant damage. On fights like Vaal I completely ignore his damage pretty much and wack away at him unfettered. I usually start encounters with rocksteady mantle to just go nuts.

For buffs I find that a mushroomancer build really helps here to totally complete the build. It is as follows:

You can buff at camp then switch gear sets to your usual and keep those buffs. I run a item prolonger, widerange, free meal, mushroomancer set and it gives these buffs: Attack up (Nitro Shroom), Defense up (Parashroom), Recovery up (Toadstool), Life bar increase (Mandragora), Stamina usage halved and Stamina bar increase (Devils Blight). I combine this with might seed (Attack Up), adamant seed (Defense up), demon powder (Attack up), and the Defense powder and I have nearly 60+ more attack and 60+ defense. I'm over 500 defense on my long sword build and upwards of 900 attack. The best part too is that you can now use a food buff that isnt just health or chefs special. If its an elemental boss, I usually take Elemental large. If its something I know is easier I take attack large. To save gear sets hit start at the equipment screen and you can save them there. The best part of the mushroom thing is that the material is cheap, just throw 3 loads of mushrooms/nuts in your garden on rotation and you'll be sitting on 100s upon 100s of this stuff.

The best part of this duracell set, you will look like a total certified tough guy. The armor set literally looks like your straight out of the game "diablo". Anyway, feel free to leave any comments, etc! Also I know I could probably switch the legs out or helmet for more optimal pieces but I really like the look and the maximum might is essential for this build to make up for damage lost on speccing so many tank skills.
