Advice on pet ownership when renting from a condominium owner (Ontario, Canada)

I am leasing a condominium from the owner and am trying to look up clarification on whether they can enforce a "No Pets" clause in my lease. I am aware that for a tenant under the Ontario Tenants act a no pets clause is void but it gets more complicated if it is a condominium. The Condominium owner did not provide a copy of the condo regulations/rules/declarations and did not inform me that the condo complex follows the Condominium Act, 1998.

I have seen other tenants of the complex with pets and I know a few own dogs in the complex so I'm not sure if that means that the complex allows pets or not. Is there anywhere that can clear things up a little more for me? I'm currently trying to contact the condo complex property manager to see if they can provide me with a copy of the rules/regulations/declarations but I'm wondering if that's a good idea or not.
