Question regarding stacking ravager biles

Hey guys I'm new to the game so I'm still not sure if I'm entirely understanding the proper ways to micro my units. A brief search suggests two ways to quickly stack ravager biles:

1. Tap spell key (C) -> hold shift -> left click
2. Hold spell key (C) -> left click

As far as I can tell, fighting with a group of ravagers (plus roaches for tanking) involves moving in for a bile barrage, then moving out to wait out the cooldown before re-engaging. This involves a lot of constant right-clicking, which royally screws up my unit actions when I hold shift, because they will try to move into (or attack-move into) wherever I last clicked before starting the biles. Holding the spell key (C) is also a problem because of the initial delay (possibly due to Windows?) after the first bile.

So now I'm stuck here with alternating C and left click as my current solution. Is there a better way?

EDIT: People have suggested reducing the key repeat delay in Windows keyboard settings. That seems to improve the initial delay a lot, potentially making the hold down C method viable :D! Thanks, guys.
