Should Eero devices show up correctly in Wifi analyzer apps?

I use an app on my Android phone to view available wifi networks and access points by MAC address. When I originally set up my Eeros, and for a few months, I would see up to six access points (3 gen1 Eeros, each with two bands). My phone would connect to one of those six.

Recently, I am seeing fewer that I expect. For example, I might be next to an Eero I am connected to on the 5GHz band, but the 2.4GHz band on the same Eero will not show up in the app. Then, a few seconds later it will show up at near full strength, only to disappear again a short time later. In general, where I might expect to see 4 or 5 MAC addresses, I am in fact generally seeing 3 to 4, and they are popping up and disappearing all the time in the analyzer app.

Everything seems to be actually connecting and working fine on my phone and other devices, but I wonder what's going on.

Is there a problem with my Eero network, or is this just an odd artifact that doesn't cause any problems? Did a recent Eero update cause this behavior? Did my recent upgrade to Android 8.1 cause this behavior? Is anyone else seeing this?
