My 15 mins
Working through day five and I'm already worried I'm starting to lower my guard. I've felt this feeling before, after a few days sober or maybe a week or two, I stop thinking about my sobriety as much. I step away from the good habits I've been working on and start lowering my walls. That's when it attacks. I don't go to as many meetings as I should, my schedule makes it hard. I am however doing something I have never done before in my attempts at sobriety. I take 15 minutes every day to solely focus on my sobriety. I listen to naked mind, I post and look at posts on here, I journal, I think about the steps I need to keep taking.
This routine has helped so far and every day it reminds me to keep my guard up. I'm still toying with the idea of therapy but haven't worked up the courage to do it.
Anyway, I'm glad to be sober and IWNDWYT
