New player here, question about Adaptability.

So I beat Dark Souls 3 and fell in love with the combat and proceeded to buy Dark Souls 2. I didn’t know that the “I frames” were based on a stat for a while, but now I got adp up to 20 I was wondering where do people usually stop leveling that at? Thanks in advance. Also playing blind here so spoiler free please.
