Ridiculous how long it takes to acquire renown

I just purchased this game a few days ago and am wondering if there is any faster way to acquire renown. I get about 30-50 per brawl match and maybe 100 per dominion game mode. At this rate, how do they expect you to acquire 5-7 thousand to unlock executions and customizables? To me this is absolutely absurd and greedy on the part of Ubisoft.
