[SPOILERS] Marvel sure seems to love these kind of moments
Where a major character confronts another major character over murdering their mother.
From Tony attempting to kill Bucky as he fights him and Steve in Civil War, when he learns that Bucky killed his parents in their car accident but specifically refers to his mom (since he had a better relationship with her than his father; Howard). "He killed my mom!"
From Peter Quill shooting his father; Ego out of rage when he learns that he is the one who put the tumor in his mother's head that eventually killed her in GOTG Vol. 2. "YOU KILLED MY MOTHER!!!"
And now that Jessica Jones: Season 2 has been released, we now have yet another 'mother' moment. When Trish shoots Jessica's mother; Alisa in cold blood as they were reliving a memory of riding a ferris wheel when Jessica was a kid, and I've got to say it was a very heartbreaking scene "You killed her!!!". Although Alisa accepted her fate and was ready to face death by the authorities, having Jessica's best friend/adopted sister who was the single most important person in her life kill the only family by blood she had left was absolutely tragic. It really felt like Jessica was about to kill her out of rage. Now their relationship will never be the same again. "I look at you now, and all I can see is the person who killed my mother." felt like another way of her saying: "You're not my sister. Not anymore."
