In need of some help with my FPS problem.
So I’m currently running a GTX 1050 (I know, needs an upgrade anyways.) While playing Overwatch I usually get around 55-60fps no issue but occasionally it will drop to about 45 and stay around that number for the rest of the match or sometimes until I restart the game.
On rainbow six siege, however, I only get about 45fps max, at all times and even less when I’m looking around rapidly. I’ve tried benchmarking it and got 60fps results but it doesn’t act this way during gameplay. Also, sometimes I have to restart my computer before I play rainbow six siege because it was rapidly decline to around 12fps if I move the mouse quickly at all.
Also, I haven’t messed with my v-sync setting much so they’re probably default and my monitor is definitely not the best monitor in the world and is likely outdated.
Would this be a gpu issue or do you think it could be the monitor / v-sync messing with my FPS? What should I do to fix this?
