Is lowering sensitivity worth it ?

I've been doing alright with 1200 DPI and .14 in-game sens, however I wouldn't consider myself to be great. I've been playing with high sens my whole life so it felt natural to me.

Now looking at the absolute best, they all seem to be running low sens (400-800 DPi-, 0.7), which seems to be universal amongst other FPS titles. Ok so sure maybe it's a question of preference, and I shouldn't care what others are doing. Well I don't believe that. I don't mind adapting to low sens if it's objectively better, which my research shows it to be.

That being said, I was wondering there are any top tier players I might've missed that are running a similar high-sens? Because then I'd see it's possible to be great and it would make me stay with what I'm currently comfortable with.
