ipad pro 10.5 or wait for 2018 ipad?

What are the rumors? I would only buy a 2018 ipad if it has edge to edge screen, otherwise it wouldnt worth the extra money imo. Does the previous gen apple products drop price when the new ones are announced or when they are available for sale

id use it for college note taking, but im not in hurry to purschase
