Wood vs Metal

So I am about to move out very soon with my boyfriend and my best friend & I’m pretty excited! However, I don’t know much about beds that well. I just want an opinion or advice as I can’t seem to decide for myself. What type of bed frame is better? Wooden frame or metal frame? I know this sounds silly, but I just want some opinions before finalizing and purchasing something I’m going to have for awhile.
