Prism or reflex red dot sight for Browning 800
I recently bought a Browning 800 and really like it except for the open sight that comes with it, which I find difficult to sight in and for target acquisition. I mostly use it for target practice in short ranges (I have a 14 yd range in my basement), vermin and maybe squirrel hunting.
So I was thinking about putting a red dot on it because I prefer target acquisition through a reticle over an open sight. I don't need magnification. Was thinking reflex because it is more flexible when it comes to eye relief but then realized the way I shoot it I'm pretty close to where a prism would be so the eye relief isn't an issue.
I was wondering if any of you guys have opinions on this matter.
