DAE dislike kids but flove kid shows? i.e. MasterChef Jr?

I don't really watch singing competitions because a lot of kid singing voices are just not that great. However any other type of kid competition is very interesting to me because a lot of these kids are SO talented and they have some of the most hilarious personalities.

HOWEVER, I am very aware that these competitions are heavily edited. We're probably missing the massive meltdowns, tantrums, or just general kid WTF moments so I know if you stuck me in that situation in real life, I'd be miserable as fuck.

But watching it on TV is very entertaining and I do agree that the kids on TV can be super interesting, have lovely personalities and have a great outlook on life. The episode I just watched ALL of these kids are supporting each other, encouraging, and taking their losses more gracefully than a lot of adults in their situations.
