I am Jake Jung (Translator of Made in Abyss, Atom the Beginning, Flying Witch, ClassicaLoid, etc.) - AMA

Hi, I’m Jake Jung. I have translated (i.e., produced subtitle text for) such anime as Made in Abyss, Flying Witch, ClassicaLoid (both seasons), and Atom the Beginning for Sentai Filmworks. Feel free to ask my anything! Anime translation is of course the emphasis, but I’m also happy to talk about my experience with video game translation, living in Japan (10 years here now), studying Japanese, raising bilingual kids, teaching English in a Japanese junior high with the JET Program, etc.
