Mind linking me to the post that had multiple giant pokemon? I searched past results and couldn't find anything exactly like this, only instances with one large pokemon and not several.

It seems far less common these days though.

You trigger this by mass tapping the 'go to gym' button when remote feeding. Old and nothing special.

Someone suggested this is a bug caused by clicking too fast on Goto Gym.
In my experience this is caused by mons from other nearby gyms appeared within the same line of sight. (similar reason to why you see the timer of other gyms nearby sometimes)

I’m still missing an R Unown..

I put an Unown in a gym, then went to remotely feed it. After giving it some berries I noticed...that. I've seen giant pokemon in gyms but not several giant pokemon at once in addition to the regular one.
Just tried to re-create it with a different letter (O and W), didn't happen again. Checked the same gym again, giant Rs are no longer bouncing around
I think there's 3? I was watching them for a bit, there's at least 2, but I believe I saw 3 appear at once.

I put rare Pokémon in gyms to allow passing players to get the seen entry. I hate having empty spaces in my dex.
Some trainers actively avoid seeing Pokémon they haven’t caught yet, as they hate having their “seen” number be artificially inflated. To each their own.
There is a certain group of players, who hate you so much. I don't care either way, but some people are incredibly pedantic about having their seen the same as their caught.
My guess is that group is smaller than the group who would be happy to have it seen.
I put them in there for people to get them as "Seen" in the dex since Unown are nearly impossible to find outside events, and also for the candy. Unown candy isn't much (it's usually better with other "rare" species) but i'm still going for it.
That and they're cute. Love how R bounces around
