Easily one of my fav Cole songs. Friday Night Lights is, overall, my fav Cole project but the warm up was raw as fuck too

Both projects were insane man imo except for the sideline story no other project has been as good

That beat hits me just right.
The mixtape does a lot of nods to J. Cole's favorite artists. From Kanye's "Devil in a New Dress" to Erykah Badu's "Didn't Cha Know" sample in this song, J. Cole just felt like one of us, a hip hop rnb fan in college hoping for a chance at the spot light.
"if they dont know your dreams, they cant shoot them down"is my favourite cole quote
Hell yeah. It hit me hard.
