The Restroom
I went to my office restroom at around 2 in the afternoon.
And I was doing my business in order to get out of there soon.
I was waiting for my waterfall to reduce to droplets and disappear.
Meanwhile, I turned to my right, my co-worker was standing right there.
I said hi to him straight away.
He said hello and looked away.
Then I slowly put my head down by 30 degrees.
The angle of the waterfall was still 70 degrees.
At that moment I thought this journey is going to be endless.
And it felt like the well that I was trying to empty is bottomless.
That’s when I heard a sharp sprinkling sound, which was hard to ignore.
I lifted my head up, leaned back a bit, and turned to my left to know more.
I realized that the urinal to my left in the restroom was broken.
It sounded like it was in a terrible pain and it looked visibly shaken.
It was crying all over the place and trying to say something in its own way.
I think it was just screaming, "For a change, I’m going to piss on you today".
I thought I was in a semi-library because I heard nothing from my right side.
I think he was still patiently waiting for his well-water to jump outside.
But his height surprised me when I looked at him for the second time.
A strange thought crossed my mind and I came up with this joke in no time.
The last two lines of this para are going to be verbatim.
Letter for letter, word for word, what I exactly told him.
"In here, like everybody else you are trying to answer the nature’s call."
"But tell me something, right now are you not cursing yourself for being this tall."
He tried his best to understand the joke before his mind went completely blank.
I told him, “If you move your head around there’s a chance of spotting others junk.”
He burst out laughing as if he got an answer to the funniest riddle.
He was on my right, the broken urinal was to my left, and I was stuck in the middle.
