hearing a single beep-like sound regurarly but PC works with no issues
I hear it randomly, maybe once every 1-2 hours. I said beep-like because it's not your typical beep sound, it sounds a bit different but I'd have no idea how to explain how it's different. it's some weird electronic beep? Maybe if someone has sample sounds of beep alerts/alarms a PC could give I could try to see which one it is.
this is the motherboard I have: https://ddr4motherboard.com/beepcodes/ASROCK-AB350-PRO4 and from that link it says 1 beep = memory error, but I don't think that's case? I mean if there was a memory error the PC shouldn't just work with no issues.
I built this pc almost 2 weeks ago now and it's been working fine. only thing I have left is to fix this windows 10 activation thing which MS support should get me fixed. but I keep hearing this beeping, and I believe the frequency of the sound has increased over time.
note: it's the 1st time I built a PC so I could have done something wrong (even though I followed various guides and such) but if everything is working just fine, why is the PC beeping? Also, it's not the temperature. I checked and everything was at 25-35 °C when not under stress, which I believe is normal?
so I have no idea what's wrong, and if the beep is even coming from the motherboard or from something else.
edit: this is the sound > https://vocaroo.com/i/s0C9OQZzkXXp at 5 seconds in you can hear it, it's REALLY LOW so raise the volume of the speakers.

Those Beep Codes are for startup issues, when the computer fails POST (Power On Self Test)
if this is happening when the computer is on, it's potentially from your Graphics Card. And could mean a power issue.
would I still be able to play games without problems if the beep was coming from the GPU? Because I can play them just fine.
and if it's a power issue I'm not sure how I'd fix that, I connected the connector cable from the PSU to the GPU exactly as seen in video guides, and the connector pins went in perfectly.
if it can help I recorded the sound of this beeping.
it's usually a warning beep of some kind of issue.
Even if the GPU is connected correctly, the PSU might not be powerful enough to provide power to the Graphics card during load. This is usually the case with cheap PSU's that claim to be really high power PSU's.
What PSU do you have and what Graphics card?
GPU is a GTX 1060, PSU is a SEASONIC focus gold 80 plus, 550 FX fully modular. when I built the PC i was told that amount of power was enough, please don't tell me it's not enough. :'(
edit: this is the recording (sound is REALLY LOW, it's at 5 secs in) https://vocaroo.com/i/s0C9OQZzkXXp
That should be enough to power the system, unless the PSU is faulty. But that is rare with good brand PSU's.
Might need to go through the motherboard manual to see if there is any mention of error beeps during usage. Do you know the motherboard model number?
That little electronic beep (really hard to hear), not really sure what it might be, if it's whilst the computer is on (and not when starting up), there is potentially some kind of hardware issue.
Bad news time.
This is potentially going to mean your RMA the motherboard, PSU and Graphics card.
Since it's a new build, these kinds of issues do show up in the first few weeks or months of use (that's what the warranty is for).
Contact the company you bought the components off of and see what they recommend you do.
Note* when sending back the motherboard, it's important that you put the cover over the motherboards CPU slot, otherwise your warranty is void.
