People who shoot up schools or commit mass murders shouldn't have their face or name released to the public. They shouldn't get any attention for their crime and just get the punishment they deserve. I believe these people are doing what they are doing for notoriety and they are getting what they want.

Yep, it's giving them exactly what they wanted. They go from feeling powerless and insignificant to everyone in the country saying their name. The media culture creates these fucking mutants far more than the gun culture.
