So I was thinking of celebrating the release of Yakuza 6 with some good Japanese liquor(preferably whiskey)

Nikka Taketsuru is a good starting point, it shouldn't be too expensive (roughly 40 €/$). Nikka Pure Malt Black/Red/White are similar both in taste and price range.
Suntory whiskies are of very good quality in general but they're pricier in general, around 60 €/$. Suntory Hibiki, Yamazaki and Hakushu are the way to go here. Aged variants of the three go for around 90/100 €/$. You cannot go wrong with any of them.

i'd go with suntory just because they're featured so much in all the games. well that and because they taste damn good.
Yamazaki 12 was my favorite out of the 3 I’ve tried. I’ve also had Hibiki and Hakushu but they both paled in comparison to the Yamazaki.
Yamazaki Single Malt (12 Year if you can afford it, but the "standard" one is nice too).
Uh. Hibiki Harmony or GTFO.
Quick question since you've used the glasses. Are they machine washable?
I haven't tried that, nor does it say anywhere on the product or package if it can be.
For a relaxing time, make it a Suntory time.
