Damocles

I understand many dont get the allusion to the sword of Damocles. Is this a poem worth while if it doesn't relate to the majority of people? Also im new to this and would appreciate any criticism.

Tyranny below a Blade

Captures the Heart

Fortunes, grasped

Breath, Adrift

Held by a strain of a hair,

Will of man is but thin

Hold the Pommel ahead

As fear holds you

None may follow

For it has been long over due

The Sword of Damocles Held True
