Next field research reward?
Any word on a possible legendary after Moltres? Anyone who got lucky and got extra stamps find out this week yet?

Iirc someone found "fire month" in the game's code, so probably either Entei or another Moltres.

It should be Moltres for all of April.

Moltres is likely to repeat. It should be around for multiple weeks so that players who only collect one stamp every other day, or even less frequently, don't miss out on a legendary. The players who do play every day and complete (and redeem) a quest are getting the benefit of trials for better IVs.
Personally, I'd like to see the legendaries hold on for a while, or us being able to choose in some way. I have no Raikou. I'd like to get 6 of them.

I really hope this isn’t true and it’s a cycle and sure maybe make it last for a month but for those of us getting stamps everyday it would be quite mundane in my view

(Even though this isn't true because everyone obviously got Moltres on the first round) it wouldn't be bad to have randomized rewards for the research. It's not like it's all that difficult to complete and you can discard the hard research tasks, so having it be a random encounter like (the with eggs) would be cool imo. Since you can only get the reward once a week, it would keep people playing a bit every day without being able to farm a ton of legendaries.

I’d really appreciate something like Kanghaskan, Mr. Mime, etc. Giving us a crack at the region-specific Pokémon would be lovely.

I've thought this too. Would not complain about another Moltres, but I missed out on Articuno the first time so I'd LOVE for it to be my icy boi. I'm hoping field boxes continue to spawn legendaries and otherwise difficult Pokémon, maybe regionals too? Either way, I enjoy the implementation into the game and am in love with the near-perfect Moltres I got this time
