This video is horrible, I don't know why it keeps popping up. It badly edited, you barely understand the audio (even the autoatic subtitles are a total mess) and there is constantly something going on silently in the background, reminding me of horror movies.
And as if all that wouldn't be bad enough the guy keeps contradicting himself, does not understand what marxism or capital is himself and is generally disrespectful and dishonest towards Peterson. It's an awfully bad hitjob with very little value.

Thought it would be worth discussing as this is one of the angles the opponents of Dr. Peterson love to use, by saying he doesn't really understand Post-Modernism or Critical Theory.
The people saying that have a point on when it comes to Post-Modernism being more of a tool when Dr. Peterson saw it more as an ideology itself. But where they are wrong, and that guy in the video is also wrong, is that the effects of both Post-Modernism and Critical Theory can obviously be linked to how both are used. And this is where Dr. Peterson is ahead of them in that he sees that those effects cannot help but destroy values (or have just destructive societal effects), while rarely creating stable ones.
The guy uses the excuse that Marx only meant to say that Capitalism produces revolutions to avoid scrutinizing what are really the causes of those revolutions, their characteristics, and thus were they tend to end up. So for him, one or two revolutions that didn't end in absolute catastrophies are enough to prove that Marxism and said catastrophies are not linked. Of course, anyone here who understand trends can only laugh at that.
To put it simply, it's just a basic apology coming from someone who refuses to see actual causes and effects.
Did you deliberately link to a time stamp where the author of the video is discussing violence. Because he's not at that point talking about the violence of revolutions but he is talking about state violence and the causes behind it.

They used the post modernists to destroy working class solidarity values and shift the focus away from capitalism on to scapegoating men and tolkenism on.corporate boards. It serves conservative values in that it destroyed marxism. This would explain the fact it was funded and spread by neoliberal capitalist foundations.
