Just curious if anyone knows if using a VPN service violates any terms of service for this game or something of that nature. I'm on public wifi quite a bit (work) and wanted to try to be a bit more protective of my phone data but don't want any trouble in swgoh either.

I've never heard of anyone being banned from a game due to their usage of a VPN. You should be fine.
Playing from Russia? 😄
Nope just alittle paranoid as somebody stole my credit card I have on my iTunes account.
I always remove my payment method from iTunes or set it to a virtual card
really doesn't matter what you do
I've left my work VPN on many a time after being called out to do something, finished up, and continued to play.
