Escape

on this horrible day,
in this particular horrible moment in time,
there is nothing to do but
laugh and laugh and laugh
the irony is uncanny
it is absolutely ridiculous!
it is so funny i can't contain myself
i am laughing so hard my sides are hurting
i am laughing so hard no sound is coming out
i am laughing so hard i can't breathe
and now i am crying, crying, crying
i am in tears from laughing so hard
i am on the ground gasping for air
i am on all fours heaving and LAUGHING
LAUGHING, like a maniac
cause on the inside i am completely dead
and in this horrible moment
you are so, so tempting

there is nothing i can do
and my only solace is this music playing while i sleep
