Ancestry DNA and BCRA2

I recently got my results back from Ancestry and immediately uploaded to promethease. Top on the list was rs398122559(C;T) with a magnitude of 6. It is a BCRA2 mutation. I keep seeing there are a lot of miscalls for BCRA2 so I was wondering if this was a possible miscall as well since breast cancer does not run I'm my family (at least on my mom's side). Everything else seemed about right regarding known family issues. Either way I will keep doing self checks. Thanks for any insight!

we've only seen this genotype on ~1 out of every 8000 ancestry files we run. It can still be wrong since your data isn't clinically validated, but it isn't being significantly overcalled.

Thanks for looking into it for me. I will bring it up with my doctor at my next physical.
