6 strips per channel is the limit. Any more just wont light up.

The issue is power. 6 strips comes to just over 2A in current draw. As SATA power is limited to 4.5A, more than this runs the risk of Bad Things happening.

I am wondering about the maximum number of RGB strips that can be supported on a single channel daisy chain with the Lighting Node Pro. 

Am I correct in assuming that it's 6, since the lighting setup menu in iCUE only goes up to "6 strips are connected"? What would happen if I attached a seventh one, would it just not turn on at all?
